Commissioned by the Ministry of Public Works (MPW) and the Ministry of Health (MOH), the Kuwait New Maternity Hospital (KNMH) is a state-of-the-art facility for maternity and birthing services. It is a clear reflection of Kuwait’s and the GCC’s ascent to the cutting edge of all nations. Comprehensive services are available within a single complex, for a truly comforting experience for patients and their families.
Buildings within the facility include an 11-level hospital, an annex for outpatient clinics and administrative offices (as well as a full auditorium), a multi-story car park with a shaded roof, and a separate central utility plant with underground access. Operating rooms number 27, accommodating more than 780 patients at a time, while the car park fits up to 1,300 vehicles.
It is a sight to behold, stretching as it does from the ground up to 18 stories at its peak, but even more astounding is the impact, apparent to all who see the extensive medical equipment available and the interior furnishings, which communicate the dependability and the professionalism that make the hospital such a comfort to all who step through its doors.
